Allow me to start by sharing exciting news :)

My book, The Promise We Made: Three Universal Soul Promises We Made to Our Children, is featured in this month's Aspire Magazine’s Top 10 Inspiring Books List.

I am deeply honored and grateful for the ripples The Promise We Made is slowly making.

Now, after the great news… I can continue with my weekly thoughts, this time on Alignment…

The further I walk my spiritual path, the more aligned I feel called to walk, and it’s not easy. It’s actually very challenging.

I’ve shared before about the concept of Ayni – Simplified, a reciprocal relationship based on a great giveaway. Meaning we intentionally walk giving, not expecting anything in return, trusting that others on our journey, and the universe itself, will balance. Balance often taking place beyond lifetimes.

Intentionally walking the great giveaway is, for me, a compass. Sometimes, I manage to be giving, with no expectations. At other times, I intentionally participate in a balanced give and take. And then there are those times on which I look back, using the eyes of the very human me, and ‘regret’ I agreed to an exchange.

This last week, invited a few such lessons.

Lessons always come in chunks, don’t they? Making sure we won’t skip them and take the learning in. I think I understand the teaching I was offered (I hope I am). So, just now, while writing to you, I took a short break, sat in meditation, reached my arms out, and collected the learnings energetically. Making them mine, owning them, so that these teachings won’t have to come my way again.

After expanding back to alignment, I took a deep breath and made a conscious and aware choice to continue walking the great giveaway intentionally.

The Parenting & (Non-Religious) Spirituality Book Club, led by Anne Beer and myself, meets in two weeks. It’s that time of the month again :).

This week, I would like to introduce Eva Goulette​, founder of Dancing Jaguar Spirit Camps, to those of you who have yet to meet her.

Eva and I hosted the Spiritually Aware Families Summit last March. It was a powerful event that brought many of us serving spiritually aware families together. It feels so long ago, but so much has happened since, and yet, it's been less than six months.
